Problem Description
After installing Ram Connection version 13.00.00.56 x64 on a machine with prior x32 bit versions Ram Connection may no longer launch from the Ram Manager even for a file with valid steel design results.
Reason
The most common cause is having some folders in the C:\Program Files (x86) path that did not get deleted during the installation of the new version.
A secondary cause is having the Ram Manager - Tools - Manage License restrictions set to prohibit the use of Ram Connection. Make sure this option is checked in order to use the companion products.
Solution
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Engineering
If there are folder labeled Ram Connection or Ram Conenction.en in this location, rename them (if they are confirmed to cause the problem they can be deleted later)
