Revision 1 posted to RAM | STAAD Wiki by Seth Guthrie on 4/23/2019 11:21:28 PM
 Applies To
 Product:Ram Concrete Shear Wall
First Affected Version:16.00.00.28
 Found in Version:16.00.00.28
Released in Version:16.01.00.20*
 Area: Installation, Licensing
 Issue #:1010553 (and others)

Problem Description

In some circumstances the database of section cut and coupling beam data could become corrupted. The symptom is typically that the Concrete Shear Wall module would no longer initialize. It might crash or exhibit strange behavior such as coupling beams that disappear int he View?update dialog.

Reason

We have not pinpointed the cause of the database corruption.

Solution

In version 16.01.00.20 we fixed a number of corrections that will hopefully prevent future database corruptions. We also

implemented a tool that purges the model of corrupt data, but this results in a model that has to have the Wall Design Groups, section cuts and coupling beams re-assigned.

Initialization Warning

---------------------------

Due to geometric changes in RAM Modeler, the following action has been taken:

# Wall Design Groups have been deleted.

# Wall Design Groups assignments have been deleted.

# Section Cuts have been deleted
