 Issue #:719245

Problem Description

ACI 318-14 18.14.3.3 and 18.7.6 (or analogous provision in earlier versions of ACI 318 requires gravity concrete beams classified as Seismic Category D (or lower) to be designed for a shear force associated with the probable flexural strength (Mpr). This is not currently accounted for in the design of the beam and can result in an unconservative design.

Solution

We are working on a fix for this issue.
