Problem Description
When designing the lower stories of column unbraced over multiple stories, RAM Concrete Column does not take into consideration the probable moment contribution from beam in the upper stories. The column may be designed for a shear force lower than the shear strength required in ACI 318-14 18.7.6.1.1 (or analogous clauses in earlier versions of ACI 318).
Solution
We are working on a fix for this issue.
