Problem Description

Japanese section data is referenced in the documentation and installed with Microstran but missing from LIMCON.

Steps to Reproduce

All installations are missing this table.

Solution

Download the Aijw.asc file from the link below (you must Sign In to Communities in order to download files):

Japanese Section Library for LIMCON

• Save that file to the LIMCON Library folder, e.g. C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Engineering\Limcon\Lib
• In Limcon use File - Configure - Section Library Manager to open the Aijw.asc file

• Review the data on the right and click OK to exit from the Section Library Manager and compile the library file (you may get some compile warnings related to small channel section properties which can be ignored).
• If Japanese shapes are desired for the current job, then go to File - Configure - General and select the Aijw library for Sections.
