Problem Description
For tapered member design as per AISC 360-05 code, design results are coming out different when members are designed in groups vs individually. This has been specifically observed when the first member in the design command block is a TRUSS member and the list of members to be designed included tapered members as part of it..
Steps to Reproduce
Run an appropriate model with Tapered member and check the results of design for the two cases
a. using an individual CHECK CODE for each member
b. using a CHECK CODE for a LIST of members
Results seem to differ.
.
Workaround
Design the tapered members individually each with its own CHECK CODE command
