Are the Bentley Structural Products compatible with 64-bit operating systems?
Currently, we have confirmed that the v8i release of RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Connection, RAM Concept, and STAAD.Pro will function on 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. RAM Structural System - Revit Link 3.4 is available in a 64-bit version for use with Revit Structure 2009-2011.
Other than Revit Link, none of the programs have been compiled for 64-bit processors yet; so they do not take full advantage of those systems. This is a task for us to complete with each of the programs over the next few versions.
As of May 2010, AutoPIPE does not officially support 64-bit operating systems yet. Support will be added in a future version.
