RAM Elements CONNECT Edition v16.03.00.101 Release
Notes – Updated December 2020
Enhancements:
1. Direct Analysis Method. Automatic notional loads generators and stiffness reduction factors were added in order to complete the direct analysis method requirements.

2. Update Masonry TMS 402-16. The masonry design was updated to the latest design code TMS 402-16 for the Masonry Wall module in standalone and integrated mode. This update is also available in the Retaining Wall module.

3. iTwin Services - Design Review. RAM Elements now have a new side bar where all iTwin Services will be presented. iTwin Design Review is a service that allows a model created in an analytical desktop application to be converted into a point of collaboration hosted in the web that can be shared with any team member or stakeholder on a project. For more details please read iTwin Services for Engineering Analysis.

Resolved Issues:
- AISC 360-10 single angle flexural torsional capacity was considering the erroneous ry for the critical elastic stress calculation (Fe). This is fixed now.
- AISI S100-12/16 effective section calculation for gradient stress elements were not being considered properly. This is fixed and now results match latest AISI Manual (2017).
- Concrete beam pre-design for torsion was not presenting results as the stirrups were always defined as open. An option was added to the Reinforced concrete design dialog to define stirrups as closed.
- Tilt-Up deflections were calculated with wrong maximum moment for fixed panels. This is fixed now and the module is using the moment that produces maximum deflection.
