Note: This is only relevant for versions prior to V17.00. Beginning with V17.00 the licenses were consolidated into a single RAM Structural System license; there is no separate Modeler license.
Whenever I'm opening a RAM module, such as RAM Steel, RAM Concrete, I see it is using a RAM Modeler license. Is RAM Manager same as RAM Modeler license?
From RAM Structural System version (14.07), RAM Manager has been replaced with a RAM Modeler license. When you open RAM Steel Beam or RAM Column, it will show usage of a RAM Modeler license and a RAM Steel license. Similarly, when you open Frame Design, it will show usage of a RAM Modeler license and a RAM Frame Analysis license. Once, you open RAM Concrete, it will use a RAM Modeler license and a RAM Concrete license. Foundation design uses a RAM Modeler license and a RAM Foundation license.
When you purchase any RAM module, RAM Modeler license is included in the license file. If you purchase two modules, 1 RAM Steel and 1 RAM Frame Analysis, 2 RAM Modeler licenses are also included with the license file.
