Problem

Analysis warning, "An error has been found. A reinforcing bar is out of a cross section in 1C-1" or similar may appear when the actual reinforcement, typically user reinforcement, is not within the reference trimmed design section.

Program designed reinforcement is always optimized to fit within the trimmed cross section, but user defined reinforcement can be placed in an invalid location causing such a warning.

Explanation

As an example, consider a typical "T" beam. The bottom bars for the strip will be in designed for the bottom of the beam stem.

But if the strip is (incorrectly) trimmed to a slab rectangle, those same user bottom bars will then be below the trimmed section, "in space" and cannot be considered in the analysis and design of those sections, and the warning is given.

The program would end up adding more program bars within the slab in this case.

It's worth noting that user defined reinforcement that is skewed to the design strip can also generate the warning. It is possible to have a case where design strips in the latitude and longitude directions are somewhat skewed to each other and trimmed differently where this condition is intentional, though very rare.

A similar warning also occurs for tendons that placed outside of trimmed sections.
