Why can't I modify or delete shell interfaces in RAM Elements?

Problem Description

I can't delete or modify the shell interfaces that I created between two materials in RAM Elements. I have tried using the "Delete interfaces of selected shells" tool but it doesn't help. When I run the model, I get the "Error in interface 1. Check connectivity" error message. See the error message below:

Solution

The error occurs due to the corrupt data in shell interfaces. Creating an OpenRE model by exporting the problematic model will solve the issue since the interfaces are not read into the OpenRE file and the corrupted data gets purged during this process. Please follow the steps below to solve the issue:

1. Export the model to an OpenRE Model 

2. Create a new model. 

3. Import the OpenRE model that you have created in Step 1.
