Problem Description
During installation on a Windows 7 x32 bit machine the following error occurs preventing the installation from completing:
"Failed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 (x64) with error code 0x80070001. Incorrect function"
Or in the Spanish version, "No se pudo completar la instalacion a caua de uno o mas problemas. Corrija los problemas y vuelva a intentar."
Solution
Make sure the Windows 7 x32 operating system is completely up to date by installing updates from Microsoft.
Alternatively, install on a 64 bit computer or revert to the prior version of the software, version 13.05. Contact support through a service request if this version is not available for download through Software Downloads.
