Error or Warning Message
I have downloaded the latest version of the software; when I try to run it, I get the message "Script error...." and it fails to execute the action. Program ends with an error exit code.
Explanation
This is a permission issue from the One-click install that we currently use to package the software. The HTML script fails to execute.
Solution
For the CONNECT Edition:
Extract the .msi file by following the steps below and then install the software from that file.
Copy it during an install:
- Run abcd1234.exe /log %temp%\Product-log.txt
- Advance to the "Welcome to the Product.." page
- Examine the log file, %temp%\Product-log.txt. Find the line "Verified acquired: Product", moving to <path>"
- Copy the .msi from <path>
For the V8i version:
Extract the one-click installer file using WinZip, 7.zip or any other file extraction software. Once this is successfully done, install the .msi files one by one.
