Description
Where is the advanced analysis option turned on/off in STAAD.Pro CONNECT edition? I do not see it under 'License Configuration' like previous versions.
Solution
While running STAAD.Pro CONNECT edition, if you select "STAAD.Pro Advanced" it will start the Advanced solver.
The check box in license configuration dialog box to turn on the STAAD.Pro Advanced Analysis (as was available in V8i version) is not available in CONNECT edition anymore. You can set it via SET STAR command.
In case you do not get the 'Welcome to STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition Licensing' dialog box, since you have turned off the 'Display this dialog on startup', you can bring it back. Open STAAD.Pro, click on 'Configure', check the box 'Show Licensing Dialog'.
Click on ok and exit from STAAD.Pro. Next time when you open STAAD.Pro, you will get the STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition Licensing dialog box. Make the correct selection of license as mentioned above and you will be all set.
