Problem Description
While trying to install RAM Connection 11.0 standalone version, I am getting an error message ".NET Framework 2.0 is not installed." I'm using a new Windows 10 machine; .NET Framework 4.0 is already installed in it.
Explanation
In Windows 10 machines, .NET 3.5 which include .NET 2.0 is present, but it is not enabled by default . You have to enable this feature to go through the installation process.
Steps to Resolve
Search for "Turn Windows features on or off."
Then enable .NET Framework 3.5. This includes the .NET 2.0 libraries needed by RAM Connection.
