Problem Description
A crash occurs when assigning a spread footing in RAM Elements for any of the following conditions:
- One or more support nodes are not selected when the foundation is assigned.
- Any node that is not a support node is selected when the foundation is assigned.
- No nodes are selected.
- Valid support nodes are selected, but no analysis results are available or no service or design load combination are included in the analysis results. At least one combination set to "Design" or "RC-Design" and a second combination set to "Service" or "RC-Service" are required.
Reason
The program can only assign a spread footing to a support node, and only where there is at least one service combination reaction available.
Solution
With version 13.04.01.208 a clear warning is provided for any of these circumstances.
