My output file has a floor load warning . What does this mean?
**WARNING** about Floor/OneWay Loads/Weights.
Please note that depending on the shape of the floor you may have to break up the FLOOR/ONEWAY LOAD into multiple commands.
This warning has been included as a friendly reminder to the user that he/she should be careful when using the “FLOOR” or "ONEWAY" load function and to consider breaking up the floor into smaller groups for complex shapes.
The warning does not necessarily mean that anything is wrong with the floor loads or oneway loads, but just that the user should be aware that in some instances it is necessary to break up the floor and oneway loads into smaller regions. Section 5.32.4 of the Technical Reference Manual gives a detailed explanation of these situations. Staad cannot distinguish between a two way floor and a one way floor , it just applies the loads the user instructs it , so it generates a friendly warning just to remind the user that the floor load has been correctly applied according to the floor geometry . You can simply ignore this warning message.
