Problem Description:
I have installed STAAD.Pro in a machine and it gives the following error when I run the software; right-clicking on the short-cut and selecting the option "Run as administrator" does not help.
Solution:
Please uninstall the program and reinstall it with full administrative privileges. In Windows 7/8/10, right click on the installation file and select the option 'Run as administrator', though you are logged in as the administrator.
If reinstalling with the option "Run as administrator" does not resolve the issue, it could be that the antivirus program is detecting STAAD.Pro as an unsafe application. We have cases where Kaspersky anti-virus program detects STAAD executables as potential threat to the machine and blocks them.
Ask your IT administrator to add all the STAAD executable files in the safe application list.
