Problem Description
when I installed STAAD Foundation Advanced version (7.01.00)in any of the systems with operating systems Windows 7 or 8, I get Microsoft compatibility error.
Reason
The Program Compatibility Assistant might appear if a program or driver didn't register correctly. This is a warning message and no changes are made to the program itself.
Steps to Resolve
Click on "yes, the program worked correctly." The program will run fine.
If the program does not run properly, uninstall the program from the 'Control Panel' and install it again. While reinstalling the software,For Windows 7/8, you need to right click on the installation file and select the option "Run as administrator" (though you are logged in as the administrator of the machine).
